Boom by the Bay

This year’s Boom by the Bay includes all the events along the Riverwalk – from The Heights District Celebration at Armature Works to the Star Spangled Sparkman Warf to the Friends of the Tampa Riverwalk July 4^th Boat Parade – it is an afternoon & evening full of timeless, fun family events for everyone to enjoy. SharkCon 2025

July 12 – 13th, 9am-5pm

“Just when you thought it was safe…” - returning this summer to the Florida State Fairgrounds, dive deep into the world’s oceans to discover fascinating facts about these incredible creatures - all without getting wet. Fun for all ages, this event features TV & movie celebrities of the shark world along with educational and community partners like the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Mote Marine Aquarium, Seaworld, Sea Life & Gatorland. Tampa Bay Ice Cream Festival

July 20th, 11am – 8pm

What better way to celebrate National Ice Cream Day than spending it on the St. Pete Pier enjoying this cold, favorite & sweet treat? The Tampa Bay Ice Cream Festival is back on Sunday, July 20th from 11am – 8pm. Enjoy ice cream and other sweet frozen treats (for purchase) from over a dozen vendors serving their best creations from soft served, craft scoop ice cream, gelatos, popsicles, and more. 24th Annual GECKOFEST

August 30^th, 10am-8pm

Gulfport's largest and most uniquely vibrant street event celebrates with flair with their 24^th Annual GeckoFest. All of Beach Boulevard South is transformed into a festival to remember on Saturday, August 30th, 2025, from 10am to 8pm. This free event features live music, unique arts and crafts, tasty food, street performers including roving magicians, acrobats, jugglers and more. Enjoy the colorful quirkiness of Gulfport!

Clearwater Offshore Nationals

September 26-28^th, Race times vary

The Clearwater Offshore Nationals will bring together the top-tier racers and teams from across the world to compete in a high-speed showdown on the open waters. The 2.5-mile-long racecourse runs just a couple of hundred yards off and parallel to the beach with Turn One just at Clearwater Beach’s famous Pier 60. Enjoy an incredible weekend of racing and our beautiful Gulf waters!
